Welcome to The Counseling Center at Riverchase! |
The Counseling Center at Riverchase, LLC, is a community counseling and
education center founded by Janet Miller, LCSW, and Ron Yount, JR, LPC, LMFT.
The counseling center's mental health staff are licensed by the State of Alabama
to work either as a clinical social worker, a licensed professional counselor or a
licensed marriage and family therapist. Ron is also certified as a "Masters
Addiction Counselor" by a national certification organization to offer counseling to
those addicted to alcohol and other substances or behaviors.
The counseling center can offer counseling in a wide variety of topics that include
the following: family; martial; grief and loss; divorce adjustment; anger
management; sexual abuse; depression and Co-Dependency. The counseling
center also offers four different types of therapy such as individual therapy,
couples therapy, family therapy and groups.
Counseling sessions for individuals, couples and/or families are available by
appointment Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 A.M - 6:00 P. M. On Friday, the
office is open from 9:00 A. M. - 12:00 P. M. (noon).
We are conveniently located in the Riverchase area, just off Highway 31, in
Hoover, AL.
The mental health staff is on the provider panels for several insurance programs.
Prior to your first visit, please check with the office manager to clarify any
insurance questions.
