Jeffrey Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He earned a bachelor's degree
from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana in Psychology/Pre-Med and continued
his academic training at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning a Master's
Degree and Educational Specialist Degree in Agency Community Counseling. He is a
National Certified Counselor and is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management. He
has over 10 years of training and experience in providing individual and group
counseling. Jeffrey provides counseling services to a variety of clients with presenting
issues such as marital concerns, substance abuse, sexual abuse, behavioral problems,
career counseling, spiritual/religious concerns, and other areas.
Jeffrey specializes in providing family and adolescent therapy, diagnostic evaluations,
psychotherapy, and consultations. His extensive background provides him the
capability to serve clients experiencing Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, Oppositional
Defiant Disorders, Conduct Disorders, Attachment Issues, Blended Family Issues, and
Parenting Issues. His theoretical approach is primarily cognitive behavioral and he is
able to provide individual, family, and couples counseling to all age groups.
